VICE x Brent

A mass broadcast from young people across the borough

Sir Bradley Wiggins styles himself as the ‘kid from Kilburn’, Big Zeeks calls himself ‘the Fresh Prince of Harlesden’, Raheem Sterling met his fiancée in a Wembley youth club and Zadie Smith’s writing consistently returns to her formative years in Willesden. You may not know it at the time but, one way or another, growing up in Brent shapes you. Brent Broadcasting Corporation will share the formative experiences of young people currently living in the borough, sending them across Brent, the capital and beyond.

Working with the VICE media platform, creative young people from across the borough will develop 100 new podcasts addressing themes of justice, youth culture, current affairs and politics in Brent.

If you are aged 18-26 and interested in working with VICE to tell a story about your life in the borough, send an email to info@lboc2020.com.
