Bob Marley Blue Plaque

15 The Circle, Neasden, London. NW2 7QR.

Bob Marley and the Wailers (who at the time comprised of Peter Tosh, Bunny ‘Wailer’ Livingstone, Aston ‘Family Man’ Barrett and his brother Carlton Barrett) lived here in summer 1972 while touring and recording with reggae singer Johnny Nash. It was at this time that The Wailer’s signed their deal with Island Records, after which they returned to Jamaica to record their ‘Catch a Fire’ album. In 1973 this would become their most successful album to date.
