Other Cinemas 2020 is a programme of film screenings and events that showcases the works of filmmakers of colour.
In 2020, Other Cinemas will celebrate the diversity of Brent through a different kind of cinema that speaks to local communities and cultures. To celebrate the diversity of Brent, Other Cinemas will host events that interrogate the different issues that communities of colour face and provide a platform for discussion and learning. Many of the events will include director Q&As, giving the audience an opportunity to probe the filmmaker about the story behind the film.
